Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir

In 1982, Dr. Trevor W. Payne CM first brought together the Montreal Black Community Youth Choir and the United Union Church Senior Choir for what was to be a single performance. Now, over three decades later, the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir has gained international renown, having performed the world over, and for dignitaries such as Nelson Mandela and Queen Elizabeth II. With dozens of albums and awards, the group has collaborated with some of music biggest names including Celine Dion, Ray Charles, Michael Bolton and New Kids on the Block. Expect anything from Gregorian chant and Bach Chorales to traditional Zulu music and jazz. A sizzling summer celebration with one of Canada’s most popular gospel choirs!
