HOST: Christian Hodge, Major David Campbell MUSICIANS: Chautauqua Brass LUNCH: Melly RollsIn 1831, two Scottish-born brothers, Lieut.-Col. Rober Campbell and Major David Campbell created a settlement at Campbell’s Fod at a calm and shallow stretch of the Trent River. Major Campbell is back to show you the site of the “new railway” (now Trans Canada Trail), as well as his favourite spot: the railway tunnel under Highway 35 where the Chautauqua Brass is tuning up for an acoustically marvelous “tunnel performance.” Back at the Barn, a Meadow picnic leads into the performance by Canada’s folk family, Leahy.
