There is no time better than the present to think about the future!
Westben is asking for your help to reach a fund-raising target of $400,000 in support of a capital campaign to purchase the West Schoolhouse; an historic, one-room Schoolhouse right next to Westben.
Funds raised through the Campaign will be used to purchase the West Schoolhouse and make the improvements necessary to get it operational.
West Schoolhouse was built in 1890 using 30,000 bricks from the West Brickyard, located just to the south of the Westben Barn. With that in mind, we heartily invite you to purchase a brick in the foundation of the future of Westben:
Each brick costs $100. Buy one or more and be added to the following lists which will be proudly displayed on the new Attendance Board at the Schoolhouse:
• $100-$900 purchases 1-9 bricks and your name on the Graduate List
• $1,000-$2,400 purchases 10-24 bricks and your name on the Honour Roll List
• $2,500-$4,900 purchases 25-49 bricks and your name on the Star Pupil List
• $5,000-$9,900 purchases 50-99 bricks and your name on the Dean’s List
• $10,000-$24,900 purchases100-249 bricks and your name on the Valedictorian List
• $25,000+ purchases 250 bricks or more and your name on the Trustee List
ALL contributions of $20 or more are tax-deductible. All are greatly appreciated, and all givers get to ring the Schoolhouse Bell!
